This calculator can be used to generate draft estimates to plan your project or to initiate Research Use Only (RUO) and Clinical project with OICR Genomics. Clinical reports are provided for Clinical projects only. Once you are satisfied with a draft estimate, submit your completed form and our team will contact you with a formal estimate and information on how to start your project.
The project initiation process is as follows:
- Complete and submit this form
- Approve cost estimate
- Provide the required documents:
- REB Approval Letter
- REB Number
- Coordinate sample transfer with Tissue Portal.

- Our standard analysis pipelines can be run on data generated at other centres. Illumina sequence data (fastq format) generated from the appropriate library types can be processed through our Whole Genome, Whole Transcriptome or Whole Exome analysis workflows. Aligned sequence (bam format) can also be reanalyzed by back-extraction to fastq format. Deliverables include all standard workflow outputs that are included in our RUO Standard Pipelines.
